I still buy CDs because I want to support the musician who creates the music. I like having tangible discs that are artwork themselves. I get around the CD scratching issue by burning a copy of each CD I purchase and copy the exact album art and label the burned CDs with my Dymo DiscPainter. The labels on the new copy look exactly like the original. I keep the original safe in my collection display and use the duplicate if I use it in my car or let someone sample it to see if they want to buy their own CD. It truly is exciting that artists who's music previously would not have seen the light of day may now finally get discovered.
