Tame Impala is an Australian band that is getting lots of press at the moment – if you’ve been look closely at a lot of lineups for recent and upcoming gigs and festivals, you’ll see their name popping up quite a bit.
They’re currently supporting MGMT on their national tour, and will be coming back to Perth for St Jerome’s Laneway Festival, Nevereverland and Rollercoaster.

A lot of their support parts might be attributed to the fact that a major label’s signed them on – apparently because psych rock is said to be the next big thing. Or it could just be that they’re a Perth band (and Perth bands are always the next big thing). Something to look out for hey?
