The Tigers’ newest release ‘Beautiful Forest’ is an oh so delicious cake. Songs firmly grounded in twiny guitar and complimented by brass make up the majority of the tracks, but in no way does this limit the artists’ capacity for a large spectra of variety in both the subject matter and tone of each slice of delicious cake.

Oh yes. Intense and focussed in ‘Marry him off’, full of the promise of spring and good things to come and determination, in ‘Beautiful Florist’ and shockingly capricious in ‘Names and things’.
