		<description>Bear in mind that firstly, this post was written in 2009, when the word hipster was barely known, because hipsters were far less prevalent, and those that were far surpassed &quot;regular indie kids&quot; like Valeria or myself in terms of self-importance and wankery. And secondly, I don&#039;t know if you followed the link to latfh.com but my guess would be that you didn&#039;t. The critical tone in those captions is because they were pulled directly from the website itself.

This post is about not taking yourself seriously, because life&#039;s no fun without a good dose of self-deprecation (that doesn&#039;t mean pooing on yourself, but if that DOES happen you can see how being able to laugh about it helps you deal).
It&#039;s not about hipster-bashing, and if anything, I&#039;d call myself a hipster these days because the word has evolved, or at least society has become aware and changed it to incorporate anyone who buys from op shops, listens to vinyl (or at least high-bitrate downloads) and buys frankie, not just the poseurs of 2009 who discarded albums as soon as Pitchfork published a review.</description>
